Ways to Lower GPU Temperatures






  
    In general overheating is not good for GPU or CPU. Overheating can result in the decrease in the lifespan of the graphics card. There are various reasons for a GPU to get very hot and this happens only during  cryptocurrency mining , heavy graphics processing tasks or  gaming.

    But in general anything above 85 degree Celsius is a sign of worry. If the temperature of your graphics card GPU goes above 85°C then you should take appropriate measures to bring it down preferably in the 75°C – 80°C range or lower.

1.      Getting rid of the bags of dust that accumulated in the GPU could result to massive improvements in temperature.
2.      Replacing the graphic card thermal paste.
